Grandma's Bread Pudding
1 cup sugar
3 cups milk (no skim, turns out best with whole milk - trust me)
4 slices bread (slightly stale/hard due to leaving out for a few hours)
1 tsp vanilla
cinnamon to taste
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Beat eggs slightly. Add sugar and milk to eggs. Stir until sugar is well mixed. Add 4 slices of bread, broken up, to mixture. Add vanilla and cinnamon to taste.
Butter a bowl - 2 quart, and pour in mixture. Bake 1 1/4 hours. Serve warm or cool.

My grandmother passed down this recipe and I have never seen bread pudding similar to this. It's the best!!
