Grandma's Hot Crab Dip
"A classic favorite from a Chesapeake Bay native."Serves 6 | Prep Time 5 minutes | Cook Time 20 minutes
8 ounces of lump blue crab meat
8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1 tsp horseradish cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 small onion, minced
pinch of garlic salt
salt to taste
pepper to taste
fresh parsley, for garnish
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together in a medium sized bowl. Transfer to an oven-safe dish.
Cover and bake for 20 minutes.
Garnish with parsley. Serve with sliced bread or pita chips.

My grandmother was a wonderful cook. My grandparents lived on the Chesapeake Bay and we would crab right off the end of their dock. This simple and delicious recipe, which highlights the crab meat by limiting filler ingredients, was enjoyed many, many times by our family, friends, and community.
