Grandma's Shrimp Creole
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
1-2 stalks of celery, chopped
1 small can of tomato sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
2 tsp flour mixed in a bit of water
1 lb. peeled shrimp
In a non-stick skillet, add 1-2 tsp butter or olive oil.
Add chopped onion, and celery.
Saute 3-5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, chili powder and worchestershire.
Simmer until onions and celery are tender (about 10 minutes)
Add shrimp and stir frequently until done (3 to 5 minutes)
Add the flour/water mixture to thicken the sauce.
Serve over rice.

I got this recipe from my mom who made it throughout my childhood. It is simple and yummy, just add a salad.
