Ingredients

16 oz Sour Cream
8 oz Cream Cheese(room temp.)
1 pkg. Taco seasoning
1 sm onion, small dice
4 cups Lettuce, shredded
1 pkg Cheddar Cheese, Finely shredded
2 plum tomatoes or small, small dice
Black olives, sliced (optional)

First, take out cream cheese and let it set to soften.

After the cream cheese has softened, blend with sour cream and package of taco seasoning using a wire whisk. Blend mixture until somewhat smooth, may still be a little lumpy. Put that aside.

Take a pizza pan or cookie sheet and line with foil, then spray with cooking spray to avoid the dip from sticking.

Once that is finished spread on sour cream mixture.

Then, sprinkle with diced onion, following with the shredded lettuce, top with shredded chesse, tomatoes and olives.

Place in the refrigerator to set for about and hour or until ready to serve.

Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy.

I adopted this recipe from my grandmother who could basically take any ingredient and make it out of this world. This recipe is always a favorite and a hit with everyone I know. I am constantly asked to bring this dish to any event. I hope you all enjoy this recipe as much as I do. I know my grandmother would love the fact that I am sharing this with everyone.

Sounds super yummy! Thanks for sharing this recipe :D

My kids love this, our family calls it taco dip. Welcome to Bakespace. I hope you find lots of great recipes and great friends also.
