- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2-1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- This recipe was made to be cooked in a cast iron skillet, I don't know how it would turn out in a pan.
- Mix dry ingredients together first then add liquids while beating with electric mixer.
- Pour into well greased cast iron skillet. Bake at 425 degrees
