Ingredients

1 cup cornmeal
1 cup self rising flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2-1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1/2 cup water


This recipe was made to be cooked in a cast iron skillet, I don't know how it would turn out in a pan.


Mix dry ingredients together first then add liquids while beating with electric mixer.


Pour into well greased cast iron skillet. Bake at 425 degrees
