GRANDMOM'S HOMEMADE VANILLA ICE CREAM

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 package Junket
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 qt. whole milk
  • 1 t. vanilla extract
  • 1 large can evaporated milk.
  • Prepare according to ice cream maker's instructions.

Directions

  • Separate eggs.
  • Put yellows in sugar.
  • Beat in Junket.
  • Add whole milk and evaporated milk gradually.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
