- 1 c. Grape Nuts
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs, beaten.
- 1-3/4 c. sugar.
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- Add dry ingredients to first mixture. Pour into two loaf pans (or three small ones.) Bake at 325 for about 1 hour.
NotesThis is a old recipe that I found in one of mom's old recipe books. After makeing it the first time I recognized it as one that my grandmother had made very often when I was growing up. Brings back good memories.
