Ingredients You'll Need

2 Cups great northern beans
1 Carrot, diced
1 Stalk of celery sliced thin
1 Small onion, diced
2 Chicken bouillon cubes 2 Cups water
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 Teaspoon basil
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 Teaspoon thyme


Directions

Let beans soak in water overnight. Bring to a low boil and boil until tender, about 1 hour, then drain and rinse. In a cook pot, heat oil and add onion cooking 5-6 minutes until translucent. Add in 2 cups of water and bouillon cubes and bring to a boil, 5 minutes. Add beans and spices and simmer 15 minutes.
