1 package PERDUE® Fresh Lean Ground Turkey (alternate: PERDUE® Fresh Ground Chicken)
1/4 cup loosely packed fresh mint (alternate: cilantro leaves, chopped)
1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
4 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
4 regular size pita breads (5-6 inches)
1 medium tomato, sliced
If grilling, grease grill.
Preheat grill or broiler.
In medium bowl, combine turkey, mint and lemon peel until blended.
Shape into 4 oval burgers with 1 tablespoon feta cheese in center of each burger.
Grill or broil, turning occasionally, 10 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in center registers 165°F.
To serve, cut top edge off each pita bread.
Place burgers and tomato in pita bread and top, if desired, with your favorite condiment.
