Green Beans with Almonds
1/4 cup slivered almond
1/4 cup butter
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp lemon juice
1 can French style green beans (15 ounces)
Heat the green beans in a sauce pan. Turn heat to low.
Melt the butter in a small frying pan. Add almonds and cook over low heat until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; add salt and lemon juice.
Drain the beans; pour the prepared almonds, butter and juice over beans and stir.
