- 3 cups finely shredded crisp green cabbage
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 carrot, shredded fine, optional for a little color
- For Dressing:
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- Put cabbage and onion in a bowl.
- Prepare dressing with remaining ingredients. Stir well to dissolve sugar. Pour over cabbage; toss lightly. Chill.
