Grilled New Cuban Sandwiches
8 soft French rolls or Hoagie buns, split
1/4 cup mustard
1/4 cup pickle relish
4 slices Swiss cheese, cut to fit rolls
4 slices deli ham, cut to fit rolls
4 slices Provolone cheese, cut to fit rolls
4 slices deli turkey breast, cut to fit rolls
3 Tbsp. butter, softened
Preheat panini grill, indoor grill, or waffle iron.
Spread mustard on half of the cut side of split rolls. Spread pickle relish on the other half. Make sandwiches using the coated split rolls, using Swiss, ham, Provolone, and turkey.
Spread butter thinly on outside of rolls.
Place sandwich on grill, close cover, and press down if necessary, using a kitchen towel or oven mitt to shield your hand. Grill for 4-5 minutes until crisp and hot.
