Grilled Tea - Marinated Steak

Ingredients

2 tablespoons lapsang souchon tea
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1- 4oz premium cut of steak


In a small bowl, stir together the brewed tea, brown sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, turmeric, black pepper, and ginger. Pour the mixture into a large resealable plastic bag. Add the chops. Allow to sit in the refrigerator over night.



Heat a grill pan or barbecue to medium-hot. remove the steak from the bag. Discard the marinade.



Grill the steak until brown on both sides and cook to your desired doneness. remove from heat and cover loosely. Allow 15mins to rest before serving
