Why I Love This Recipe

Thinly sliced Balsamic Pork Chops are combined with pesto and Provolone cheese and toasted for tasty hot sandwiches. Serve with creamy coleslaw and potato chips for an easy meal. I've added what i found to be the easiest for me. Depending on how many sandwhiches you want you can adjust amounts easily.


Ingredients You'll Need

3 cooked Balsamic Pork Chops, thinly sliced
(* i use balsamic vinegrette salad dressing and get the thin prok chops they work best. We grill ours on the grill. Better flavor.)
8 slices Italian Boule bread
( *get a crusty bread. it holdes up better in the press)
1/2 cup purchased pesto
4 (1-ounce) slices Provolone cheese,smoked
Olive oil


Directions

Spread 1 tablespoon pesto on each slice of bread. Top four slices of bread with sliced pork chops and cheese; top each sandwich with remaining bread. Lightly brush outer surface of sandwiches with olive oil; grill in a medium-hot skillet until toasted on each side. (*i use my george forman as a panini press. Perfect!)
