HAM AND CABBAGE SOUP

Serves | Prep Time | Cook Time

Ingredients

2 cups of Diced ham
2 potatoes peeled and diced
2 Carrots diced
2 celery stalks diced
1 can diced tomatoes
1/2 head cabbage, sliced thin
2 cans chicken broth or bullion
1/2 tsp. basil
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. garlic minced or to taste
1/2 tsp. black pepper


Put every thing in pot except cabbage and salt. Cook until veggies are cook through.


Add Cabbage and cook until just tender.


You may have to add more water or chicken stock.

I am always looking for something to use up left over ham. This is a nice change from pean soup.
