Typical Slovakian dish


  • Wide noodles, or whole wheat wide noodles
  • Farmers cheese
  • Cottage cheese
  • Bacon, or turkey bacon
  • Butter, if using turkey bacon
  • Alternative to farmers/cottage cheese combo feta cheese can be used


  • Cook pasta according the directions, el dente, firm pasta is the best
  • Chop the bacon to small pieces and cook until crispy
  • Mix farmers cheese and cottage cheese
  • If using turkey bacon, melt 1/2 stick of butter
  • Mix cooked pasta with the bacon fat (or melted butter if using turkey bacon), cheese mix couple of minutes on the medium temperature
  • Serve warm with crispy bacon pieces on the top.
