HAMBURGER BARLEY POT
INGREDIENTS
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 medium onion
- 5 c. water
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 3 tomatoes, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. barley
DIRECTIONS
Lightly brown meat in fat, breaking up with fork. Add onion and cook 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except barley and bring to boil. Add barley. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Uncover last 15 minutes.
