Hamburger Hash Brown Hot Dish

Ingredients

8 ounces (4 cups) frozen hash browns
salt and pepper
1 pound hamburger
1 medium onion, chopped
1 10 ounce frozen peas
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
6 slices Velveeta cheese
1 30 ounce French fried onions


Butter a 9 x 13" pan, cover bottom of pan with hash browns. Put browned hambuger and onions on top. Sprinkle peas over hamburger. Mix cream of mushroom soup with milk and pour over above mixture. Place cheese on top and cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Take out, remove foil and sprinkle French fried onions on top and return to oven, with heat shut off, for 15 minutes.
