HASH BROWN POTATO CASSEROLE
Hash Brown Potato Casserole
I'm not sure there has been a major event in my life without SOME sort of party potato. Life motto: Party with potatoes. -Liz

INGREDIENTS
- 10 c. Mr. Dell’s frozen hash browns (or another brand of frozen shredded hash browns, 32 oz./2 lb. pkg.)
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 12 oz. sour cream (1 1/2 c.)
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions (I use less.)
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. crushed corn flakes
- 2 T. butter or margarine
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour 1/4 c. melted margarine into a 9x13” baking dish. Add 5 c. of frozen hash browns. Mix soup, sour cream, milk and green onions in a separate bowl. Pour half of the mixture over hash browns. Sprinkle 1 c. grated cheese on top. Add remainder of hash browns and soup mixture on top. Sprinkle on remaining cheese; then cover with crushed corn flakes. Drizzle 2 T. melted margarine on top. Bake for 1 hour. Do not overcook.
