Heath Bar Cake

Serves 12-16 | Prep Time 30 | Cook Time 30

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
5-7 frozen Heath bars (cracked into small pieces)
1/2 cup chopped pecans


Mix the first 4 ingredients with a fork or spoon until crumbly. Take our 1/2 cup of the mixture for topping and set aside.



Add the next 4 ingredients to the mixture and beat until mixed well. Pour into a 9x13 greased and floured pan. Take the 1/2 cup mixture that was set aside and mix with the frozen Heath bar pieces. Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Sprinkle over top of cake batter.



Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
