  • 2 lbs hamburger
  • 4 kaiser rolls
  • 8 cloves peeled garlic
  • 2 oz cooking wine
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 1 T shallot
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp canola oil
  • lettuce, tomato and onion


  • Mix the shallots, herbs Worcestershire sauce, pepper and lemon juice into the butter. Roll the butter mixter in a sheet of wax paper. Refrigerate the butter. In a saute pan, place the oil and garlic cloves. Saute over medium heat for 5-6 minutes. Deglaze the pan with the wine or broth. Slice the butter mixture into medallions and stuff inside of the beef. Form patties and grill them to the desired doneness.
