  • 1cup brown suger
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 3 teas. cinnamon
  • 3 tart apples peeled cored and sliced
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisens
  • 1 loaf french bread cut 1 inch thick
  • 6 eggs
  • 1-1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tabls vanilla


  • Combine brown suger and cinn on parchment paper add apples and cranberries toss to coat well Spread apple mixture evenley over bottom of baking dish. Arrange bread slices on top.
  • Mix eggs milk vanilla and 2 teasp cinnamon until well blended pour mixture over bread soaking bread completly. Cover with parchment paper and ref 4 to 24 hours
  • Cover with alum foil bake in 375 d oven for 40 min
  • uncover and bake 5 more min remove from oven let stand 5 min serve warm
