BackstoryOne of the things about living in Europe is that we do not get all ingredients for recipes posted on American cooking sites. Except when you happen to stumble upon a page that shares a recipe of how to make a certain ingredient yourself.
So I found this recipe for homemade bisquick, which comes in very handy at times!
Measurements are in metric for now, but I'll post in cups as soon as I figure them out.
- 450g all-purpose flour
- 225g milk powder
- 35ml yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp granulated sugar
- 190ml vegetable oil
- Mix all dry ingredients
- Slowly add the oil and mix well
- Store up to a month in a dry place, preferably in an airtight container
