- 1 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 dried Chili Pepper, crushed
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
- Combine all ingredients and store in and airtight container. I put in a Ziploc in a pretty jar that sits on my kitchen counter with my other homemade mixes.
- How much to use depends on your taste, I would start with a tsp to 1 lb meat(beef, chicken what ever!).
- You can tinker with the recipe and make it your own. Add the things you like, want it hotter add Cayenne pepper. Want more salt add some.
NotesI needed to be salt free and I use Chili mix in recipes. So I went online and found several that had too much salt so I combine some of the lowest salt recipes and came up with this salt free mix that is great. I gave this as Christmas gifts last year.
