Homemade Flour Tortillas

Serves 12 | Prep Time 40 | Cook Time 8

Ingredients

3 Cups corn mesa flour
1 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon baking powder
1/3 Cup Canola oil
1 Cup hot water


Mix all ingredients and form a ball. Cover and let rise 30 minutes. Divide into 12 equal portions. Coat each portion in flour and roll out flat until about 8 inches around. In an unoiled skillet fry until blisters start to form and turn. Cook second side until browned.
