Store bought fondant taste real bad !!! I serched until I found a recipe that taste good and this one does.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1- 16oz bag mini marshmallows
  • 1- 2 pound bag 10X powder sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons of water

DIRECTIONS

In a glass microwave safwe bowl , put all of your marshmallows and the water. Microwave for 30 seconds. remove and stir , again for 30 seconds , etc. until your marshmallows are completly melted and you can stir them easy. start adding powder sugar 1 cup at a time. after you add 2 cups turn mixture onto a greased rolling surface. Knead the powder sugar into the marshmallows until most of it asorbed . You can now roll out your fondant for the cake you wish to cover . grease your roling pin , hands and rolling surface. I roll mine out until it is thin as 1/8 inch.

I have been using this recipe for a few months...it can be messy, but once incorporated, this fondant is easily used. It tastes good and I have yet to see anyone take it off a cake I've used it on!
