Homemade Sugar Cookie Dough

Cookies 

• 3 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
• 1 scant teaspoon Soda
• 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
• 1 cup shortening-cut in like pie crust
• 2 eggs-beaten
• 1 cup sugar
• 4 Tablespoons milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix, and roll out on floured board and cut with cookie cutters. (if too sticky, add a little more flour) Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Can sprinkle with sugar before baking or frost with powdered sugar frosting when cool.

This recipe came from my mother-in-law. She has lots of recipes, and is always willing to share them with me. This recipe is easy, and the cookies turn out wonderfully! They taste delicious, especially when you add powdered sugar frosting! :D
