Homemade Taco Sauce

Ingredients

1 6-ounce can tomato paste
3 cups water
3 tbsp white vinegar
3 tbsp finely minced jalapenos
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp minced onion
2 tsp salt
2 tsp corn starch
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder


Combine the tomato paste with the water in a medium saucepan and whisk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Heat mixture over medium-high heat until it begins to boil. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat. When sauce has cooled, poured it into a mason jar and refrigerate. Makes 3 cups.
