Honey Apple Cake
1 box (15-ounce) honey cornbread & muffin mix, Krusteaz®
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons yellow cornmeal, Albers®
1 container (21-ounce) apple pie filling or topping, Comstock More Fruit®
1 1/2 cups low fat granola, Kellogg’s®
3/4 cup honey, warmed, Sue Bee®
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Butter 9-inch-square baking pan.
Combine cornbread mix, milk, eggs, and cornmeal in large bowl.
Stir until just moistened; stir in apple filling.
Transfer batter to prepared pan.
Sprinkle granola over batter.
Set aside for 15 minutes.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
Cool cake for 10 minutes.
Drizzle warm honey over warm cake and serve.
