Honey Glazed Carrots
6 medium carrots, cut in 2" to 3" pieces
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. honey
Cook carrots in small amount of boiling salted water 10 to 15 minutes; drain.
Cook less time if you prefer to slice.
In skillet, melt butter; add sugar and honey; simmer 1 to 2 minutes.
Add carrots and cook over low heat about 5 minutes; turning carrots to glaze.
Pairs Well With
Older or mature carrots don't seem as sweet to me as baby carrots. This recipe sweetens carrots chunks or slices nicely.
