Ingredients

  • Garlic
  • Honey

Directions

  • Incredibly simple:
  • peel (don’t smash) cloves of garlic,
  • tightly pack in a small glass jar,
  • cover with honey and leave for 2 months.

One of the best things I’ve ever made.

A few cloves are a great way to fight getting sick, but you will find it hard to eat only a few

Delicious on crackers or as an addition to a cheese and olive plate

Left over honey is a wonderful glaze for meats, tofu, or veggies when stirred

A few of you will remember the year I gave jars of honeyed garlic as Christmas gifts. It took me over 3 hours to peel 5 lbs. of garlic. While it is easier to buy pre-peeled garlic, you may be able to taste the difference.
