Hot Cheese-Olive Puffs
48 small pimiento-stuffed olives
1/2 pound sharp cheese, grated
1/2 cup soft butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sifted flour
1 teaspoon paprika
Drain olives on paper towels.
Blend cheese and butter. Sift salt, flour and paprika together.
Combine with cheese and butter mixture.
Wrap dough around olives, using about 1 teaspoon of mix per olive.
These may be frozen at this point.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
If frozen, bake 20 minutes.
For a variation small cocktail onions may be substituted for olives.
