- 1 package dry yeast
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Put yeast in bottom of bread machine. (Or follow manufacturer's directions)
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Set the bread machine for regular doneness and let it cook.
- No peeking now!
- Makes a 1 pound loaf.
