Hummingbird Cake

I made this for Mother's Day this year and everyone loved it!!

 



This recipe goes with: FROSTING FOR HUMMINGBIRD CAKE

CATEGORIES

INGREDIENTS

  • Cooking Time: 30-35
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 oz. can crushed pineapple WITH juice
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 c. banana, chopped

DIRECTIONS

Combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, oil and stir only until moistened. DO NOT BEAT. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, and banana. Pour in three 9 inch pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
