Ingredients

  • 3 cups canned chick peas, drained, rinsed, and drained again
  • 1/4 cup sesame paste (tahini)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup strained freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
