Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

1 pound stew meat, cut into bite-size pieces
2 tablespoons oil
1/2 cup diced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/3 cup ketchup
2 to 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
1 1/4 teaspoons paprika
Dash red pepper
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons water
Hot cooked noodles


Directions

In skillet, brown meat in oil. Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is tender. Combine beef mixture, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, dry mustard, 1 1/2 cups water, vinegar, paprika and red pepper; place in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.


Combine flour and 2 tablespoons water; stir into meat mixture. Turn slow cooker to high and cook 5 minutes until thickened.


Serve over hot noodles
