- 1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 large onion, chopped fine
- 1 c. buttermilk
DIRECTIONS
Mix well; drop the puppies off a teaspoon into the hot grease. They will float and brown in seconds.
