"Simple but no fail Blueberry Cobbler for breakfast or dessert. The plumper the blueberries, the better! So sorry Violet Beauregard from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."

Why I Love This Recipe

After many struggles, finally settled on this recipe from my Aunt Loretta who reminded me sometimes less is more when it comes to making a good cobbler. Sometimes I prep the night before and then bake for a delicious breakfast treat.

Ingredients You'll Need

6 tablespoons of butter
3 cups blueberries, fresh, clean & stemmed
1 1/4 cup of original Bisquick
2/3 cup of milk
3/4 cup of sugar, divided

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in microwave and pour into 9 X 9 square baking dish.

Mix together the Bisquick, milk and 1/2 cup of the sugar. Pour this mixture over the top of melted butter.

Sprinkle blueberries evenly over the mix in the pan. Sprinkle remaining sugar evenly over the top.

Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Pairs Well With

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
