Indonesian Pork

Serves 6 | Prep Time | Cook Time 60

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. pork, cubed
1 Tbls vegetable oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 Tbls. brown sugar
1/2 cup water
3 - 4 cups cooked white rice


In large skillet, saute pork in oil, turning to brown on all sides.


Add onion, green onions, garlic and ginger to pork. Simmer for 5 minutes.


Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar and water. Simmer for 45 minutes.


Serve pork with sauce on individual servings of rice.

Sauce is also good with beef.
