Italian Meatballs

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 lbs. meat: 1/2 lb. beef, 1/2 lb. veal, 1/2 lb. pork
  • 2 eggs, beat well
  • 1/2 c. grated Italian cheese
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 3 tbsp. chopped parsley, fresh
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 chopped clove garlic or more
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients, using hands shape lightly into 2 inch balls. Saute in 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 chopped onion. Remove onion and brown meatballs on all sides, about 20 minutes. Add to prepared sauce for 1/2 hour. Serve over spaghetti.
