JALAPENO CORN BREAD

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups yellow cornmeal
  • 1 Cup Cream-style corn
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 Cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 3/4 milk
  • 1/2 Cup chopped jalapeno peppers
  • 1 1/3 Cups grated cheese

Directions

  • Mix all and pour into a 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan and bake in a preheated 350 oven for one hour.

Notes

Goes great with the Southwest Stew and Taco Soup.
