JAN'S NANA'S LEMON POPPYSEED SHORTBREAD
Jan's Nana's Lemon Poppyseed Shortbread
A recipe from my friend Jen's grandmother. Easy and yummy!

INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes
- Servings: 24
- Preparation Time: 15 minutes
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flous
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbls. lemon zest
- 2 Tbls. poppy seeds
DIRECTIONS
Cream butter, vanilla, and sugar
Add flour, mixing well
Add zest and poppy seeds, mixing until evenly incorporated
Pat into a 1/4 inch circle and cut into triangles
Place on ungreased cookie sheet lined with parchment
Prick tops with a fork and bake at 300 degrees for 25-30 minutes
