Why I Love This Recipe

This is the most popular slice that I make for any occasion and have made it for Years. Of course I have adapted the recipe with ingredients that you have in America, and hope that the Final results and flavour are the same.


Ingredients You'll Need

Base..
10ozs Graham Crackers
6ozs Butter melted
LEMON LAYER
16 oz tin sweetened Condensed milk
Juice of 2 Lemons
2 teaspoons Gelatine Dissolved in 3/4 cup Boiling water.
TOPPING
1 Pkt. JELLO crystals Strawberry or Lime make a lovely colour on top of slice
Boiling water.


Directions

For the Base, mix crushed crackers and melted butter. Press into the base of a slice tray. For the Lemon Layer, Blend the condensed milk with the Lemon juice and dissolved gelatine. Spread over the base and refrigerate until set. Make up Jello according to directions on the packet. COOL before pouring over the slice. Chill until set. Cut into Squares. NOTE.. it is important that the lemon layer is set and the Jello is Cooled.
