JONES FALLS COLESLAW
Jones Falls Coleslaw
- 1/2 head of cabbage, shredded
- 3 carrots grated
- plus you choose, green onions, red onions, celery, peppers, cucumbers etc. and grated apple.
- 1/3 oil
- 1/3 vinegar
- 1/3 sugar
- 2 Tbsp. mustard
The dressing is 1/3 oil, 1/3 vinegar and 1/3 sugar with 2 T. of mustard nothing fancy. shake and add to salad. P. S. don't overdo the addition of dressing.
I was once sworn to secrecy on the recipe for the dressing. I worked in the Hotel Kenny dining room located in Jones Falls along the Rideau Canal for several summers. This was the most requested recipe!
