K&W PECAN PIE, AKA GERMAN CHOCOLATE PIE

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans.

Directions

  • Mix all together and pour into an unbaked pie shell. (Recipe doesn't specify size. The last time I made it, I think I used a regular 9-inch pie shell the last time I baked it.)
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

Notes

This is the recipe one of the cafeterias back home in VA serves. It is really good.
