- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Bring to a boil.
- 1 c. peanut butter
- Remove from heat & stir well to mix.
- 4 c. flake cereal
- 2 c. rice crispies
- 2 c. unbleached peanuts*
- Stir 'til well coated & then with buttered hands, spread into a 15X10X1" jelly roll pan.
- Cool. Cut into bars.
- *we have also used 2 c. mixed nuts, salted peanuts & Spanish peanuts. Whatever kind of nuts you want to use, seems they all work out just fine.
NotesThis is a wonderful bake sale treat! The large pan makes enough for some bake sale plates with enough leftover for the family! You have to have leftovers for the family on this one!!LOL
