KC's Spaghetti Sauce
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. seasoned pork sausage (I like Jimmy Dean® best!)
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms pieces & stems, drained
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 Tb. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
2 cloves garlic, minced
about 3 c. water
In Dutch oven brown beef & pork sausage with onion until meat is no longer pink. Add all other ingredients. (You may use more or less than 3 c. of water. It depends on how thick you like your sauce.) Bring to almost a boil. Reduce heat and simmer on low for 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Serve over hot cooked spaghetti, angel hair pasta, vermicelli or linguine!!
With a little fresh Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top, a nice green salad, garlic toast or fresh, hot french bread and a nice glass of wine??? MMMMMMMMMM!!!!

I'm not Italian, but I love Italian food!! I do believe I could live on pasta and tomato sauces!! Here's my favorite spaghetti sauce....at least for now!! There could be a better one lurking out there........
