1 large onion, chopped
Saute in Olive oil until soft, add
4 cloves garlic, mashed, continue cooking 1 min, add
1 lb hamburger to pan, saute until cooked,add
1 t salt and 1/2 t pepper
1 lb Italian sausage, saute at med temp., add to onions and hamburger, add
2 28oz cans diced tomatoes, simmer on low for 30 min to 1 hr, add
1 Tb finely chopped rosemary
8 oz sliced mushrooms
1 lg can tomato paste, cook at low temp for 15 minutes, add
2 Tb dried sweet basil and 1/4 c chopped fresh basil
1 TB sugar
1/4 c vodka, simmer 15 minutes at a low temp, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the amount of pasta, I like angel hair spaghetti, you need according to directions, drain and serve with sauce and Romano cheese.
