Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe is great for a crowd of people. it makes a ton! This recipe is from the Ultimate Southern Living Cookbook

Ingredients You'll Need

1 box Betty Crocker fudge brownies (13x9 pan size)
and ingredients to make the brownies
1/2 cup Kahlua
3 3.9 oz boxes Chocolate pudding
4 cups milk
1 12oz tub cool whip thawed
6 Heath candy bars


Make the brownies according to directions.

While brownies are still warm, prick them every inch or so with a fork.

Brush Kahlua over warm brownies and let soak in. Cool completely! (very important)!

Crumble brownies.

Mix the 3 boxes of chocolate pudding together with 4 cups milk.

Mixture will be thick.

Do not chill it.

Crush heath bars into chunky crumbs with food processor. (I used Heath bites crushed up, because I couldn't find the candy bars anywhere.

They sell the bites in the candy aisle). N

ow, to put the trifle together: Layer 1/3 of brownies on bottom of bowl.

Next layer 1/3 of the pudding mixture, then 1/3 cool whip, and then 1/3 of the crushed Heath bars. Continue with the same layering 2 more times, finishing with the Heath bars on top.

Chill trifle for 8 hours, or overnight. Enjoy!!!
