KATHY'S LAYERED CHERRY JELLO
- 1 3 ounce cherry jello
- 1 1/2 cups crushed ice
- 1 can 8 ounces dark sweet cherries
Drain cherries, reserving syrup. Add water to syrup to make one cup. Bring to boil. Place cherries in individual glasses. Combine jello and boiling liquid in blender. Cover and blend at low sped till jello is dissolved. Approximately one minute. Add crushed ice and blend at high speed till ice is melted . (30 seconds) Pour in glasses, don't stir. Chill at least 15 minutes or until set. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
